Get a taste of the fall with this Greek-inspired moussaka. Each bite is oh so creamy, meaty and tomatoey. The moussaka is made up of layers of roasted eggplant, a from scratch yogurt béchamel, a spiced tomato beef and lamb ragu, and topped with parmesan cheese. This ragu really makes the dish. It is comprised of sautéed ground beef and lamb, onions, dried currants, tomatoes, garlic, and red wine. The sauce is then seasoned with ras el hanout, cinnamon and a hint of crushed red pepper. So good. The moussaka comes with a side of our orzo salad that has feta cheese crumbles, diced yellow and red bell peppers, kalamata olives, green onions, capers and dressed in a dijon-garlic vinaigrette seasoned with oregano and cumin. There is so much food, you will have enough to take to work the next day.
