Nothing can top a hot bowl of tomato soup. This week we are offering a homemade tomato soup studded with both cannellini beans and pasta. Each spoonful is full of tomato goodness. The bonus is that you also can find white kidney beans and pasta. The tomatoes are sauteed along with onion and garlic; then vegetable stock is added. Once the soup comes to a simmer, it is pureed and then the beans and pasta are added. Nothing too crazy here, just fresh ingredients cooked with care to create a classic soup. Be sure to have your favorite bread to dunk in this one.
