The beef roast is braised until fork tender in a beef stock and red wine base seasoned with sliced onions, garlic, oregano, thyme, rosemary, red pepper flakes, and basil. Assemble your pot roast sandwich in a sliced roll with roasted bell peppers and some giardiniera. We paired a roasted tomato soup with the Italian beef sandwich. Hand selected locally grown tomatoes  are slow roasted until golden. They are then added to sautéed onions, garlic, and vegetable stock. The soup is seasoned with a touch of oregano and heavy cream; then pureed until smooth. Together this combo meal will make your tailgate party stellar.
