Celebrate the summer with a bowl of our tomato clam chowder soup. The soup starts out with onions being sautéed with garlic and butter, next we add grilled fresh tomatoes and bring the soup to a simmer. Once the tomatoes break down a bit we add chicken stock and season the chowder with fresh thyme. Next we add diced potatoes and finish with fresh clams. Once the potatoes are tender, serve the bowls of chowder hot with your favorite crackers. Simple, easy, fresh and totally delicious.
