Comfort food is sneaking back onto the menus. Don’t bother going out tonight, instead stay in and enjoy a beautiful Italian-inspired pasta dinner. The sausage mushroom ragu starts off with Italian sausage being sautéed with chopped onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Next chopped basil and oregano are added, then its all deglazed with white wine. Lastly, chopped tomatoes are poured in and the sauce or ragu begins to take shape. Serve the ragu a top a bed of pasta along with the aromatic rosemary parmesan garlic bread. Oh, and don’t forget the extra parm for the pasta. Buon appetite!
