Another hearty soup is offered this week. Get excited for our cheese and potato soup garnished with ham. This home-style soup is starts out with butter sautéed chopped celery, onions, and carrots; once golden some flour is added to create a quick roux. Next chicken stock and milk are added and the soups is brought to as simmer. The soup begins to thicken slightly, diced potatoes and ham are added. Lastly shredded cheddar cheese is sprinkled in to season the soup along with thyme.  Each bite is creamy, chunky, cheesy and meaty. All you need to add is a slice of your favorite bread to clean up your bowl.
