A perfect meatless meal that will make your belly happy. Think of this as a savory pie. We roast cauliflower florets and then slice them. The cauliflower is combined with caramelized onions and folded into a light custard base made up of mascarpone, eggs, gruyere cheese, parmesan cheese, a touch of dijon mustard and cream. This cheesy filling is then baked in a tart shell until golden brown and set. The tart is very decadent, creamy and delicious. We serve it sliced with a fresh endive and escarole salad. This is an ideal brunch or lunch entrée.
