Our lamb chops are seasoned with Spanish paprika, cumin, fennel, coriander, allspice, cayenne and cinnamon; then seared until medium rare. The chops are topped with a sherry garlic pan sauce and serve with a side of spicy scalloped rutabaga. Just like a typical scalloped potato our rutabaga version is made up of creamy butter, cream, minced shallots, garlic and parmesan cheese. The spiciness comes from sliced jalapenos. So each bite is creamy, spicy and earthy. Together the lamb chops and the scalloped rutabaga make for one luscious dinner on a chilly winter’s night.
