Add a bit of latin flare to your day with this meal. This traditional Cuban dish is comprised of ground sirloin beef sautéed with chorizo, onions, garlic, olives, bell peppers, tomatoes, and raisins; all seasoned with cinnamon, cumin, cloves, and nutmeg. It has a hint of spice, but nothing extreme. This is most defiantly a home-style meal you would find in any Cuban household. We love the sweetness of the raisins and the saltiness of the olives in the picadillo. We paired this meal with an arugula salad that has diced manchego cheese, sliced apples, and caramelized walnuts. It is simply dressed in a balsamic-champagne vinaigrette. Together the salad and the picadillo make for one incredible mid-week meal that gets you ready to tackle the next day.
