Nothing screams comfort food like pot roast. Ours is just like your grandmother’s. We slowly braise a beef roast until it is form tender with carrots and onion; all in a beef stock. Once the beef is fork tender it is sliced and served with boiled potatoes, carrots and extra jus. You can turn this pot roast into a sandwich or enjoy it as an entrée. It is the perfect dish to warm up to on those chilly nights that are becoming more common.
