A comfort food classic is on our menu this week. Take the time to saver our chicken kiev. A chicken breast is light pounded out, filled with an herb butter, rolled up breaded in panko and roasted until golden brown. Yes, when you cut into it all of the butter drips out, just like your grandmother’s Kiev. We did not want to veer off too much from a classic dish, so we paired it with crispy smashed potatoes. Steamed potatoes that are then crushed and pan sautéed to reach crispy perfection. A perfect meal to stay in with.
