A proper English dessert has been formally prepared for you to enjoy this week. Yes, sticky toffee pudding is an uber British dessert and we have it on this week’s menu. It is not like a American pudding, in fact it is a steamed cake studded with dried dates then the pudding is topped with a rich toffee sauce.  The “pudding” or cake is made up of brown sugar, eggs, butter, flour and chopped dates. Once the cake is baked and cooled it is steeped in a toffee sauce. We have a feeling that you will be craving this delightful British classic dessert right after you are done with the last bite.
