We have taken a classic caesar salad and added an Italian twist to it. Yes, this version  is just like a classic Caesar made with garlic, anchovy, parmesan, olive oil, and egg, but it also has fresh pesto whipped in. Our house-made pesto is made with basil, pine nuts, garlic, parmesan and olive oil. All of this delicious dressing tops a bed of chopped romaine. Don’t forget to top the salad with extra parm and croutons. Order a large one for lunch this week.
