Ok. Ok. Ok. This is a breakfast dish, but it can also act as a dessert. So don’t judge to French toast so hard. Our orange pecan French toast casserole will start your day off on the right foot. Slices of French toast are placed into an orange cinnamon custard made up of eggs, milk, brown sugar, orange juice, orange zest and cinnamon. The French toast is then studded with toasted pecan pieces and then baked. The French toast casserole is sliced and you can serve warm or cold and top with your favorite syrup for compote. Oh, and we have packed some Michigan maple syrup for you too. Yum!
