These cookies are more like kitchen sink breakfast cookies; they have a little bit of everything in them, plus a surprise. These breakfast cookies are made up of whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, eggs, butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. They are seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg. We fold in raisins, walnuts, oats, and bran flakes into the batter. The odd addition for moisture and flavor is pureed carrots. Different, but don’t overthink it. It is still just a delicious cookie you can enjoy anytime of day.
