Add a bit of spice to your week with our chicken chile verde. Diced chicken thighs are pan sautéed with sliced onion and poblanos; then they are slowly simmered in a fresh salsa chile verde. The chile verde is made up of roasted onions and poblanos that are then added to a cooked tomatillo base along with jalapeno, garlic and cilantro. This sauce is then blended until smooth.  Serve the chicken chile verde a top a bed of steamed rice and garnished with diced avocado. Each bite is tangy, zesty and fresh. To make this meal even more amazing we paired it with a side of maple cornbread.
