It is totally apple crisp weather in Michigan! Splurge by having some of ours. Sliced apples tossed with a citrus sugar and spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg; then topped with a brown sugar, butter, oatmeal, flour, and cinnamon crumble. The crisp is baked until all of the flavors meld and the crumb topping is golden. Be sure warm up this apple crisp and put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It is a slice of fall perfection.
