What we love about the fall is the abundance of Michigan apples. One of our favorite desserts is this German apple cake. A tender cake made with Michigan apples and toasted pecans; folded into a cinnamon and nutmeg spiced batter; then baked to perfections. Once cooled the cake is topped with a tangy and sweet cream cheese frosting. Yum. Simple ingredients cooked with care lead to incredible treats.
