Jazz up your week with is super aromatic Cornish game hen soup. This Thai-inspired chicken stew is made up of sautéed shallots, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, red chilies and turmeric. Next Cornish game hens seasoned with toasted green peppercorn are added to the aromatics. Next chicken stock is added to cover the hens and the stew comes to a simmer to allow the flavors to meld. Lastly sliced turnips are added plus the stew is seasoned with fish sauce, lime zest and cilantro. Once the hens are cooked through the meat is hand shredded and added back to the stew. Serve the stew over steamed rice. Each spoonful is jam packed with Thai flavor. Yum!
