We were inspired by both southern barbecue when creating this dish. We grilled chicken thighs the then glazed them with a balsamic barbecue sauce. That bbq sauce is made up of sweet and tangy balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon; those ingredients are all combined and simmered until thickened. We paired the grilled chicken with a tender orzo salad comprised of toasted pine nuts, dried cherries, feta, and arugula. The salad is dressed with a garlic lemon vinaigrette. A perfect meal to enjoy out on the deck this week.
